tussle on a manhunt

we are sad to report that during our gig in chattanooga tn, our drummer jonathan's mother-in-law had her wallet stolen by an unscrupulous thief. sadly for him, he underestimated the tenacity and vengefulness of the tusslers. we had the following 4 days off for some r & r, but we used them launch a manhunt of epic proportions. with the help of the chattanooga chapter of the satan's helpers(did we mention our truce with the satan's helpers?), we tracked him to a rest stop 40 miles outside of dovetrail, mississippi. after doing everything we could to restrain the satan's helpers, we gave the kid a stern talking to. stern is an understatement. anyways, he explained his state of desperation and how bad he felt about his crime. after a series of merciless swirlies, we decided to bring him along on the tour as our roadie and masseuse. we still don't know his name.

road warriors vs. tussle

on our way to des moines, we had a run-in with the infamous "satan's helpers" motorcycle gang. after being rudely cut off by one of them, the tusslers followed the gang to a rest stop to defend our honor. it was 25 of them against us 4. armed with crossbows and boomerangs, they posed quite a threat to us gentle musicians but we were not frightened. luckily we had some fireworks in the van, and the display we gave was enough to scare them off. we suffered minor injuries, the worst of which was warren's sprained wrist and black eye. we made it in time for the show, and had a real great time. thanks to the great band cleo's apartment and trent and kate for putting us up. super props to juju who joined us on electric alto.

occasional insect

so. nathan bought me this candy. it was 2.50 plus tax. and it was yellow and banana flavored and there was a scorpion in it. i'd never had scorpion in my life but i thought i'd try it once because it was a present from nathan. it was pretty good. so sweet. and it took awhile to melt this thing so i could get to the scorpion. but it melted eventually and there, my tongue and scorpion met. scratchy. i couldn't tell the taste much but i swallowed it with johnathan's famous peanutbutter. it was ok.

Images of Arizona and Utah on the way to the Hi-Dive in Denver. What a beautiful, surreal terrain.
